Brown Eyeshadow Palette

This is the very first video I made so it explains everything in detail, from foundation to brows to eyeliner, lashes... the works. That is why its a little longer. It goes more into depth and teaches you a little more about brushes and products.

This is a good tutorial if youre just starting out with makeup. It also explains why you should use primers. So I hope you learn something new.

Thanks for watching.

Eyeshadows used:
phloof!: inner
yougurt: middle
blackberry: crease
handwritten: outter corner
antiqued: on top of outter corner

gold shadow, plum cheeks and lips

I am so excited for this weeks challenge. I think most people own a gold eyeshadow and dont use it very often (I, as a makeup artist don't use it often, so i figured most people don't either though I may be wrong). So, this tutorial helps you learn how to use that darn gold shadow. I decided to do a plum cheek and lip because yellow is across the color wheel from purple so they complement each other vey well. Im pretty sure most people dont use their color wheel in a daily basis but I strongly encourage you to. Wether is to help you decide what eyeshadows to pair up or what clothes to wear, the color wheel IS your friend.

Ok now that im done preaching about the color wheel, lets get back to makeup. Something else that is essential to succeeding in this makeup application is a blending brush. It has a tear drop shape and its nice and fluffy. You just need it. Period. But in case you wanted to know why, I will explain. You need a blending brush to blend your eyeshadow colors together so you don't look like you're going to the circus (and not as a spectator). Im sure you can find a cheaper brush than MAC's $31 #224 blending brush, I just don't know where you could find it. It really is worth the investment.

Aside from making you want to spend all of your money on MAC products, I think this look is very doable with the products you already have at home. Try it out and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to subscribe to the blog.

Thank you so much for watching!

Neutral eye, bold lip video tutorial

Its tutorial time again. I love this look because its so fun. I feel like I always get stuck in a rut of doing neutral eye and neutral lip. This is going to challenge you to try something new but not too crazy.

I hope you enjoy watching this video, I did get behind a couple of times in the video so bear with me, I get much better in future videos (practice makes perfect right?).

First Makeup Tutorial- Purple Palette

Wow... Am I excited to write this post or what.
I've planned this out in my mind meticulously for many years.
I always wanted to be a blogger. I tried to blog about me and Than but lets be honest, most people don't care about us that much (well, my mom does) , so why not blog about something other people will actually be interested in (rather than a billion pictures of my son, thats what instagram is for no?)

All right, lets get down to business!
First, I want to warn you, this is my first time making video tutorials so don't be quick to judge (I say ummm way to much, dont worry, it gets better as my videoing skills have improved).
Secondly, I swear I am not trying to convert you to MAC...
ok, I am, but I am not being sponsored or paid by them (I wish!). I just really adore their product. There are many cheaper and fancier alternatives to MAC, but overall, MAC rocks.
Ok Im done preaching here. Thirdly (I hope thats a word), I am from Mexico City so if my accent comes out, just laugh,
its ok, I'm not watching you

Welp, now that we got THAT out of the way, lets get serious. I created this video because EVERY time I wear this look to work, Every customer asks me to do it on them. So, lets just say purples are popular, or they just want me to magically transform them into a mini me with the swipe of my magic brush. Either way, this is a look that can work on any skin tone, thats whats so great about purples. They look great on almost everyone.

Try this look on you. Make it your own. Ready, set, go!

Ps if you have a smart phone, download the blogger app so you can watch it while you are accentuating your beauty with some makeup.

And remember, practice makes perfect.

Here's a picture of the end result:
